Tell the Feds what you Think-Votes Needed

The Obama administration has started a forum for input on public lands issues. The OHV community has been hitting it pretty hard, most OHV-related issues are coming out on the "right" side. So now they are going after snowmobilers, who don't seem to be well represented. You guys need to start hitting this too. There are a bunch of threads on Wilderness designation and an increasing number on snowmobiling.

Relatively few votes make a big difference. If we can dominate this, it gives "our side" something to hold Obama's feet to the fire with.

The forum is poorly organized compared to this one or many others, plan on doing some searches.

I apologize if this is a duplicate thread. I haven't been on here in a while. While I am very active in the ATV community my time on the sled has been very limited for the last couple of years, probably going to sell it.

...where's are best bet for early season riding near tahoe? 1-2 hour drive okay. where gets the best coverage first or does it vary year to year?

It all depends when the 'white' starts flying... ...Early season riding down here is usually road/trail riding till the meadows and bowls fill in, unless we get a big du mper right out of the hole. Early sled carnage is NORMAL. To[o] many guys can't wait and go find rocks, tree stumps and whatever else might be lurking BELOW the surface. A-arm and trailing arm [impact-absorbing snowmobile suspension parts] sales are usually good early in the season.

Anyone want to respond to this guy?
