where do you guys buy your fuel in the des moines area for a two stroke? Always better to run non oxidized fuel - looking for a place as I just moved down. 2 stroke.

i work alot in the des moines area i dont no a place i will talk to my friends that race stock cars they will probably know more, to tell the truth tho i have always run 89 or 91 with 10 percent eth. and all my sleds have run flawllessly, never had a motor issue, my 06 switchback 600 has over 10k flawless miles also i have pumped alot of nos threw it never touched the motor. same with my 700 rmk 6200 miles.

I have run 89 through my four wheeler, but never in the sled. Only run 91 in sled. Have been told it would not hurt, but go by the manufacture guidelines and call it safe. My 07 F8 i would run 87 in. 91 is hard to find in the small towns. We only have one location and he prices it accordingly. He is usually 15-20 cents higher. Won't let you ride your sled there either. Says the studs will tear the concrete up.

Almost every gas station around DesMoines,
(or the whole state for that matter) will have a 87 octane with NO ethanol in it. many of them will also have 91-92 without ethanol also.

I dont run ethanol in anything I own. Yeah, its about 12 cents a gal cheaper but you loose about 10% fuel milage on average. Eric
