Right now I am running a polaris gold (100/275) I LOVE the starting rate, but would like a little bit higher finish rate. Anyone know of a 100/300ish spring?

Speedwerx has a 120/310. How much would the extra 20 lbs affect the engagement?

Probably around 700 rpm! Trouble with finding exactly what you want is that the ratings on springs are only done at two measurements. This is second hand info but the stock cat Y/W is 120-285 but this is at 2.5" and 1.25". Clutch engagemnet is at 2.75" and full shift out is 1.5". A guy tested a used speedwerx 120/310 engagement was 75and full shift was 270. The new cat Y/W was 88 & 250. If this info is correct I think the 120/310 would work very well, and actually lower your engagement and give you more R's at the top.
The gold one you are running shows 65 at engagement and 225 finish

So what kind of R's are you guys seeing with the pol. black spring? This guys chart I'm looking at shows that spring engaging at 55lbs. and full throttle at 260. If that is so I would think the egagment would be very low and you would have a low end bog issue. I have a cat gold that is about the same engagment but I end up with a low end bog. It takes hold about 3200.

I've been trying to upload it, but everytime I try to attach it I get an invalid attachment notice. My computer skills suck!

3600-3700 engagement and 7600 max rpm, mds weights, full slp, 2009 M1000, stock secondary, attitude controller, 3 inch 162 track, 55/65 gears, 87 grams, 42-47 mph track speed depends on snow. My m7 i sold stock with a can, orange spring in secondary, 70 gram cat weights, Black polaris spring, engagement 3900-4000, max rpm 8200. Power claw track. Opened up spring cups on both sleds in a attempt to releave binding. Polaris springs seem to be a little fater.

Well, I ordered a SLP black/red. 120/320. Should be the ticket. That should bring my R's up a little bit so I can throw more weight at it. Seams like more weight makes more track speed.

2011 M8 SP 153 - BDX intake, Skinz can, stock engine otherwise. Sled is fairly light though (435 dry)

Running MDS weights with the short drilled bolt and the polaris black spring. At 8-10k feet it'll over-rev if you're not paying attention on the trail to 8400+ but in the deep & light UT/ID/WY pow it locks in at 8150-8200 rpms on a climb and will stay there for a LONG time. Engagement is around 3700.

This is not an MDS promo as I was trying to answer your question but I will say that this combo is deadly right now. Took me a little while to get it dialed and now it climbs like a friggin goat.
