RMK 600 top end rebuild help

So I've got coolant in the mag side cylinder of my 2010 RMK 600 cleanfire.
So at least top seals will need replacing. Probably a good time to do the base gasket too? Are there any decent videos or write ups to help me along? Any tips appreciated.
Thanks.

Do a search on youtube, there are a couple on their for 600 rebuilds. Doesn't need to be specific to the RMK to get you going in the right direction. Most likely your coolant leak is the base gasket.

rebuild time

Just do a complete rebuild on the thing including crank seals or you will regret it. Replace all small oil lines as well.

Good luck!

Its not hard, take your time, take notes/pictures, and put it back together the same way you took it apart. A factory service manual is a must for torque values, torque sequences, and other unique things such as thermostat placement.

If you had a coolant leak, I'd be worried about coolant in the crankcase.

Good luck, it isn't hard to do. I'm almost done with a rebuild.
