2016 Team primary outer cover install

Hey everybody, I think I may have goofed up and was hoping someone could answer a quick question.

I took apart my primary on my 2016 m8000 the other day to clean and replace the spring. In my haste i didn't mark the orientation of the outer cover on the primary. I realized when I was putting it back together that this will effect the balance of the clutch...

I noticed an 'X' on the other cover and one on the spider, are these alignment marks for reassembly, or do I need to get the clutch balanced now?

Just line up the x on the cover with the spider x. Those are the factory balance marks. You will be just fine.

Thanks! Thats what I figured but just wanted to make sure before I hit the snow!

Clutch covers

I had planned on installing a TP 911 clutch cover on my '16 LTD; This thread got me to thinking, if I change my stock cover to an aftermarket, would that require a re-balance?

Yes.
