Default US resident shipping stuff to Canada from Canada

Is there any problems bringing stuff into Canada and then shipping it to another Canadian address while I am up there?

Is this legal? Or is this a gray area? Note, I am not a citizen of Canada.

I guess I don't see a problem, but I have never been to a Canadian post office before..

As long as whatever you are shipping is not regulated (Dangerous Goods) they don't really care. Within Canada it won't have to go through customs.
