M1000 Handlebars electrical harness question

It appears I got a little to anxious on a teardown of my buddies m000. He didn't do the moddling on it (has a PIAA headlight and Koso EGTs.) So he isn't aware of what goes where either. This is on the wiring harness that goes up to the handlebar controls. It makes all the connections behind the steering post cover. I know that one of them goes to the headlight wiring (I'm assuming it's the one that also doubles off to another one wire connector.) The other goes to the key. Does anyone know which wires for sure go to the key, none of the colors match up on this sled. Also, what is the single red connector for? I'm all out of female plugs at this point, cap it and leave it dead ended?
