ARCTIC CAT POWERCLAW 3.0-IN. MOUNTAIN TRACK BY CAMOPLAST

Manufactured by Camoplast, the lightweight PowerClaw 3.0-in. Track from Arctic Cat improves deep snow mountain performance with a taller and redesigned lug pattern. The new lug shape and height emphasizes quick acceleration and flotation, but with improved cornering traction on trails and steep descents. It’s also lighter than same-length 2.6-in. PowerClaw tracks. This lightweight single-ply track features a 3.0-in. pitch with 80-durometer rubber. It is available in 15 x 153- and 15 x 162-in. lengths and requires a 7-tooth drive shaft kit. MSRP begins at $1,549.95 U.S./$1,839.95 Canada and available this fall.

No fingers in between lugs a bunch of weight down. Wonder how it affects marginal snow conditions. Love to ride with one this winter. See how it stacks against the extreme. Thanks.

Dave you'll have to show us around a few of your spots in Southern Colorado this winter... I'd love to get a little seat time on a 15 with the 3" anyway. Keep in touch.

Looks like every other paddle has fingers but they are attached, but look more tapered as well. I have one coming. I doubt this lightweight 3" beast will perform like an attack 20.

I cut the fingers off of my 2.6 153 track, it does not perform like the attack 20track....weight savings was around 3.5 pounds. if its lighter I cant imagine it's going to be by very much.

Lighter. Hmmm do you think it might fold over on a boosted sled in spring snow?

If you are spending $1800 to upgrade then you're retarded. You might be talking Canuck $ though ;)

It will cost me $800 to upgrade my '15 with 7t drivers with the track swap program.

I see a backorder date of 10/24 on the 3". Gonna be hard to keep my 15's 2.6 off the ground when it comes in 2 months before the 3"...
