I've just bought both a 141 x 2" track and a skid from an 04 pro xr 800 complete with 136 extensions to replace the 136 xtra 10 in my 02 700 sks. Looking for opinions on gearing, clutching and new skid mounting tips. I've already got Jbshocks diagram for pro x mounting, also read about the torque arm relocation mod.
Should I just follow jbshocks directions with a 2.5 setback and the 3/4" front arm drop?
Right now it's geared 22-40 70p chain, I also have a 20 top, 39 bottom and a 66p chain available if they can be useful.
Will it pull 22-40 with the 2"?
Really hoping to get the gearing right the first time, PITA to get the chaincase cover off this sled (reverse)
She's clutched almond round, 10-64, silver blue #4, slp 46-34 helix
