2008 Summit 800 Chain Case (pic)

What would have caused this? Heard some noise last ride and took the chain case apart today. The chain was rubbing on the back of the chain case. The bearing on the clutch side is perfect. The bearing on the chain case side is questionable. Kinda weird. If you have had this happen to you please post what you did to fix the problem. Thanks!!

Your lower gear was on backwards! I did that once after too many suds and sled ran like ****! Ruined a trip to mccall

The gear was installed with the writing and flat side out. He had a couple of hundered miles on it before it started making the noise.

15 plate chain or 13? Are you missing the spacer behind the lower gear?

I thought the same thing it looks like a broken spacer on an 07 or older chassie or wasnt enough tension on the chain and it started to drag
