I think if you had 220+hp you'd be more the. Happy, I don't know what my sled puts up for power but at 8.5 lbs of boost it's got enough jam

While this is fun to talk about, 400 hp on a sled will be pretty much un rideable and a waste of money. You can't possibly use it for a daily riden sled. The extra stress on everything would be un needed. The more you push the hp limits, the more touchy these sleds get on tuning. Now 400 lbs and 250 hp, that would be a perfect sled. Manageable power and light handling.

Thats my opinion too, I had a Nytro with 280 horsepower supercharged and the track spin was annoying and once it took hold was point and shoot. Loading it was exciting too. In MY opinion anything over 200 horsepower is unuseable in the mountains while tree riding.

lighter and rational power is key to fun. a 400# sled with anything over 200+ horse will me more then 99% of riders can even come close to using to its full potential. Over 300hp they get out of control and the gyro affect of the track, and everything spinning so fast makes it hard to flip around.

I see way to many people throwing way to much money at their sled when they would be better spending it on gas, riding more and learning how to ride.
