here we go just did the topend ran long enough to fully warm up the motor seemed to run great let it cool down then ran again ran fine then just stopped it was not siezed just would sputter once so i went back today and she fired right up i really dont have any idea i dont want to take it on the snow unless i have some idea whats up i do pre-mix and its at 20/1 any ideas would help

How old is the gas? What brand of pistons did you use? Did it have spark when it wouldn't start?

new gas, spi pistons,has spark,150psi cold 4 pulls

Make sure your tank vent line isn't plugged and check your brown ground wire by the recoil housing. Also check the safety switch at the throttle block.

yea im thinking stater also went up to baker today ran great until we stopped then started it again and went down the train a bit and it backfired once and died so we towed it back and it was cooled down fired right up put it on the sled deck i will pull the stater this week and check it any other ideas on what it could be?
