13 y.o. daughter bought a '77 MotoSki Futura fan electric start, no spark

She paid $100 for this sled, supposed to have run last year.
In decent shape, although rotax engines are completely new to me.

Can't get spark, but the electric start and ignition switch and tether switch are throwing me for a loop.

Previous owner didn't have the key, and the lock it busted out.

I need to hot wire this to check for spark, any help would be appreciated. She cleaned the carb last night.

well you can unplug the ignition switch and tether switch (and any other switch) and then use the manual start to check for spark.

If still no spark... and it has the ignition system, I think it called, "Polar Fire" that is probably junk... don't buy used as they were junk new

The replacement is a lot more than what you paid for the sled...
