I have been riding my 94 ZR700 for 4 seasons runs great for a trail sled, I bought my first powder sleds 2 months ago and love it. A 99-- 700 and a 2000-- 600 , both 136 track with 2 in. Paddles ,I like the chassis on the 2000 better and sold the 99 today. Will the chassis hold 140 + horsepower ? Do I need to strengthen anywhere? The sled runs great for 100 hp. Any suggestions?

There are others on this forum who know more than I but ... I believe that chassis will hold up inder 140 HP. I think the 2000 Thundercat was in the same chassis and that 1000 triple should be running 140 or more. Also, many people did the D&D 720 big bore on the 600 which is supposed to be in the 140 range. Weakest link is probably the chain case. However, I think that is easily remedied by going to Hyvo gears and chain. Someone with more knowledge can certainly provide more info.

I appreciate your input, Both sleds run fine So I'm not tearing anything up until I can't ride anymore this season. I am trying to get ideas And the things I will need to do it when the time comes. I can't wait.
