Hi, i just joined the forum! i rented snowbikes in the past but only now got the chance to build one my way for where i ride...

I got a great deal on a CR 250 this fall 01 engine, i am currently rebuilding with all new engine parts. i already listed and sold most of the db parts as this will stay a dedicated snowbike year round.

I was gona put the kit on my cr500af but it turned out so darn nice it be kinda wrong to mess with it...

The good thing about the cr i got is it is totally bare, a blank slate to build on.. So i can choose the parts as i go dont even got the timber kit yet as im still looking for a the best deal...

I got a few ''well maybe really alot of'' question obviously being my first non rental snow bike.

But for now thanks for having me on the forum

Is it ok to run one small rad and a tunnel cooler at the same time?

I got no air box at all as it sits where should the filter go to stay dry

I also am thinking of going with more of a mid/top port job with a custom pipe is that a bad idea.

Thanks

yes one Rad works good with tunnel cooler
filter depends on style the TS setup puts it right under the seat
