Anyone else having trouble accessing snowest.com using Google Chrome or Mozilla FireFox browsers? I have had an issue for a few weeks and have tried from several computers at different locations.

The only way I have been able to access snowest.com is by using MS Edge browser. I get an "connection is not secure" error any time I try Google Chrome (my default) or FireFox. I don't have any issues accessing the forum www.snowest.com/forum just when I try to go to www.snowest.com

Been having this same issue, off and on, with various computers for about the last month. Haven't been able to find a good solution yet.

Only see it on one specific computer. I have not been able to access SW on that computer since that popped up. It's been a few weeks.
I'm not on that computer now and I can't access it until next week.

I have had the same problem with 2 of my computers. If I click a search link for one of the forum categories such as M-series, I can access with no problem but if I click on a search link for just snowwest forum I get the connection not secure message.

Like Scott, I am only experiencing it on one computer.
Unable to ignore and continue, it will not allow access.

This is the only site I'm experiencing it on, for what it's worth.

Can someone click on the i in the circle and screenshot that (Chrome browser) when they see this error?

On firefox, click on "not secure" next to the address bar and screenshot that.

Usually, when you see random issues like this, it means your certificate store is out of date. Make sure your computer has all updates. Often times, Certificate Authorities will send revocations out. Also, make sure your date and time is correct on your computer.

I see the error on my computer that uses Microsoft edge for browser. cant access snowest.com at all. no option to override, NOTHING. go in on the same computer under internet explorer, and it works. other computer runs google chrome, and I haven't been having any issues at all. might be a Microsoft edge settings issue. I am setting up a new just out of the box Dell Desktop Workstation and I am getting the same errors with Chrome and Firefox. It works with MS Edge.
Cleared all cookies, site data and SSL's. (Shouldn't have any because it's a new computer but did it anyway)

So far as I can tell.
We has a EXPIRED SSL CERTIFICATE for about 90 minutes.

We had installed a new cert back in October, but for reasons that UTTERLY elude me, it EXPIRED a couple days ago. The expiration was active for about 90 minutes before I noticed it.

We removed the cert and REinstalled the same cert a 2nd time and ithe security alert I was seeing vanished right away.

As of right now,

https://www.snowest.com/forum/

is NOT triggering any security errors for me in

Explorer
Chrome
Firefox
Safari

Message from Google Chrome "Advanced" button

snowest.com normally uses encryption to protect your information. When Google Chrome tried to connect to snowest.com this time, the website sent back unusual and incorrect credentials. This may happen when an attacker is trying to pretend to be snowest.com, or a Wi-Fi sign-in screen has interrupted the connection. Your information is still secure because Google Chrome stopped the connection before any data was exchanged.

You cannot visit snowest.com right now because the website uses HSTS. Network errors and attacks are usually temporary, so this page will probably work later.

You're new SSL Certificate fixed my issue. I can now access https://www.snowest.com and https://www.snowest.com/forum/ with MS Edge, Google Chrome and FireFox :)

Before I could access https://www.snowest.com/forum/ with all 3 browsers without issues. The problem was accessing https://www.snowest.com. It would only work with MS Edge.

The issue wasn't with the forum that's why I didn't contact you. It was on the magazine site.

Both sites are now working. :) Thank you!

Try adding the "www" https://www.snowest.com/forum/

When Snowest had the SSL Certificate issued I don't think they included the name *.snowest.com they only included www.snowest.com. The forum is a subdomain of www.snowest.com.

If Snowest would use a Wildcard SSL Certificate that would cover all their options for snowest.com and subdomains.
https://www.digicert.com/wildcard-ssl-certificates/

SSL check ran from DigiCert® SSL Installation Diagnostics Tool
https://www.digicert.com/help/

Certificate does not match name snowest.com
Certificate Name matches www.snowest.com
