I was wondering if any manufacture is making a lightweight headlight option for a PRO similar. Something like the Fire N Ice Cyclops or the Mountain Fit M series see below;

Please don't take this as an insult, guys. But don't you think you're maybe just overthinking this weight thing a little. I just came off an '06 900 RMK that worked awesome. That was after I had spent almost $6,000 light-weighting it. In the end it weighed about 465 lbs and was a lot of fun. Now I'm on a '12 Pro at about 438 dry and can honestly say the last thing I'm worried about is the weight of the headlight. I'm going to work on clutching, gearing, etc. and have fun. All the while, thinking of the thousands less I've spent vs. my 9.

I do not know if anybody is making one with a direct headlight replacement I know that Skinz is making a headlight vent with no headlight built in which would require you to mount one somewhere, or run a helmet style light.

I emailed Fire N Ice in June inquring on a headlight delete with a light and they said it was being developed and an estimated ship date of October 1. You might contact them and see if they went through with development. Let us know!

Mtn. Fit Hoods makes a vented version with prefilter behind it too. I have a 55w 3" piaa mounted on the upper support right behind the mesh, you cant see it in the pic, and the mesh looks soliud but I assure you its just the picture the light works great, but this way if I ever run without a hood it is still on the sled. ALso I am into this setup less than 120 bucks.

that is a great question, the stock headlights are pretty bulky/heavy!

The stock headlights are actually very light imho. I just had them out last week installing my gage lifter. I was surprised how light they were.
