Reverse didn't work for a short period of time.... + video

Yesterday I was out for a ride. (See inserted video) and near the end of the day my reverse wouldn't work. Get back to the truck to load it and I try it again and I have reverse....... Too much moisture under the hood?

It's likely your TPS. There are a few theories on what actually goes wrong with them. could be moisture; could be corrosion. Regardless, when they act up, they often fluctuate and work inconsistently.

If you are still under warranty, take it to your dealer and have them replace it and check the wiring terminals on both ends of the TPS harness. It can usually be dried, cleaned and adjusted, but Polaris just replaces it under warranty.

snow or ice stuck in the throttle?

There was no ice or snow stuck in the throttle. If this happens again I will definitely take it to the dealer I'm under warranty for awhile yet. I heard about blocking the headlight adjustment knob to stop snow from dripping on the TPS is there any truth to this???

Get some ducktape and put a layer around the tps unit will stop water gettin in. Or its your throttle cable gettin loose.

I'll try stopping the water from getting in the TPS. I adjusted the throttle cable a couple rides ago, and it's still tensioned correctly.
