Anybody know if Crazy Mountain Extreme still builds sleds? I havn't seen any or heard of any lately. Kinda forgot about these sleds. What was the deal on them? Any pics of CMX sleds?

They are still up and rolling. Running Pol 800 CFI engines...CMX chassis with a CFI 800 turbo option is about $35k.

They made a statement about the T-arms about 3 or 4 years ago and are standing behind them.

I think they are awesome...and if I hit the Powerball, I'd have one.

Really? I didn't see where they were advertising that.

I bet it's not a GenII bulkhead anymore then, eh?

They are offering an 800CFi Turbo kit for the Dragons,

A arms/spindles with better mountain geometry

Custom valving on the WE air shocks

Belt drive (which i hear is holding up a lot better now on the 3rd generation belts out just last year)

Turn Key on the 800 CFi non turbo $27,500 - 415 lbs

Turn Key on the 800 CFi Turbo $33,500 435 lbs

They have had sleds at the last couple shows around here. Just small local shows. They have a Belt drive Dragon here in Bozeman as well a couple AreoCharged Gen IIish sleds.

mark was at the utah show. not sure i'd drop 35k for one, but a very quality machine for sure. i'm thinkin 35 minues 12 for my m1000 minus 6 for turbo kit minus 5 for m10 and have 12 grand for other lightweight and power goodies would make me happier then having a cmx but for someone who just wants a turn key sled, it's a sweet machine.

That would be awsome to have on of these sleds! I'd like to see the new ones w/o trailing arms and on a new bulk head run. Very impressive lookings sleds. I'd really like to see one run in the steep and deep

Mark is a very good guy. They build some very impressive machines for sure. I think you are going to start seeing a few other goodies available from him soon too.

I don't need to have one of their sleds, I just want to be the sled test guy!! Now that would be the SWEETEST job ever.

Anyone have pics of their A-arm chassis? You'd think they'd be putting those out for view.

I think they are very unique, quality sleds, but i think they should upgrade from trailing arms for sure. They should try using a bulkhead from a M series or something instead of a Gen II. Just my opinion.

Have a very good friend I ride with that is on his second CMX if you buy one make sure you have a really good back up sled and you need to find someone who will work on them WOW do they break alot!!!!!!!!!. Most shops won't touch a CMX and it only breaks when you want to ride .

That's too bad to hear, my sled only breaks when I don't feel like riding, keeps me home on those -30 days. :D;):face-icon-small-hap

I'd buy one from Mark just because of previous conversations and the amount of knowledge he has, I would seriously consider, the bling is the bonus part.
