Raw Fuel in Crankcase

My brother has a 800RMK that's a 2000 model year. He left the fuel valve open and a needle stuck and after a few weeks we came back to an engine and muffler totally full of fuel. We drained the crankcase and muffler but are wondering if the raw fuel in the crankcase might damage the crank bearings and if there is something we should do to treat it before poppoing it off.

I would pick up a syringe at you local pharmacy. It will plug right into the oil injector hoses. You can force injector oil down each line to the bearings. You can pull the reeds and get access to the bottom rod beaing. Put a 6 inch piece of injector line on the syringe and you can reach in and oil those rod bearings. I do that on all of my engine rebuilds
You could also wire the oil pump wide open and premix the fuel.

Dump premix in it and wire the oil pump wide open and start and let it idle for 5 minutes. You'll be fine.
