We have instructions for the 2010 and older Polaris models to do this when you purchase our throttle kill switch kit.
Here is the directions for the kill switch/safety switch removal for 2010 and older.
POLARIS
• Remove stock engine kill switch from snowmobile.
• Cut gray wires and seal off the gray wire from snowmobile with a
proper method. The supplied connectors are for the other 2 wires.
• Connect Polaris Brown wire to the RSI switch wire Black/White.
• Connect Polaris Black wire to the RSI switch wire Black.
• Install switch onto handlebars in desired location.
• Start engine and test switch before riding the snowmobile.
SKI-DOO REV XP
• Remove stock engine kill switch from snowmobile.
• Cut wires at OEM switch and connect snowmobiles wires to the RSI kill switch wires with the supplied connectors. It does not matter which wire goes to which wire, just as long as both of them
are hooked up.
• Install switch onto handlebars in desired location.
• Start engine and test switch before riding the snowmobile
On the 2011 sleds this does not work. Only thing you could do for now to run the throttle block is tape the switch shut and store it out of the way.
Hope this helps.
