Adjustable limiter strap

Soliciting opinions on limiter strap settings. Getting 2018 175 w adjustable limiter strap. I understand can set up for a 2 and 4 hole or 3 and 5 hole setting.
In general what are opinions on limiter strap length settings.

I've been on the fence on the for my XM too. Would love a way to keep the front end down a bit when going up hill. Any real world feedback? To me it looks a little chinchy especially when snow and ice fill the skid. Looked at Z-motion but the price tag is steep.
