thanks for the vid, very helpful. sounds like the open loop ignition is a lot simpler. which is great because i have a 98

ya...a little simpler. On the open ignitions you can just unplug things whereas with a closed system you have to use a jumper if you want to bypass anything..TSS (Throttle safety switch), kill switch or in this case the ignition system for diagnosing eletrical issues.
