Can anyone tell me if John still has the Inn open in the Cascade Saddle on steak night. Our group wants to ride in from Fernan on friday but we don't know if its open any longer this year. USFS said grooming has stopped but was not clear on the business.

I heard it was closed...

I had a friend ride up there on the last weekend in March, and was told it was their last weekend to be open.

I can't guarantee this information, so you will probably want to check before you head out.

he closed on the 30th of march! At least that's what the add said in the nickels worth a couple weeks ago!

It is closed for the season, but the Happy Hermit is still open and good snow all the way to it as long as you do not come in from packsaddle down the jeep trail about 1/2 mile of dirt.
