trying to understand how the whole boost controller and wastgate work. as of now wide open i can hold 10lbs of boost, if i turn boost controller it does not affect anything. Have a silber kit but did not buy the turbo from him, but it is the turbo he uses. how do i get the boost controller to work so i can be able to adjust boost. and what is boost creep?

are you trying to go lower than 10psi?

if so my bet it is your waste gate. check the part #. if you didnt special order the 7psi waste gate you will not be able to go lower than 10. i did the same thing so now i have to order one of these guys:

http://www.atpturbo.com/mm5/merchan...tp&Product_Code=ATP-WGT-019&Category_Code=WGT

and from hallman:

http://www.hallmanboostcontroller.com/Pro Series Installation Instructions ld.pdf

Justin also has a machined 3 or 5 psi waste gate available as well if you want to run pump as low elevation.

Here's my 10psi wg for reference:

If you have to big of a wastegate, it will not allow you to go below the abilities of the waste gate. Dosent matter what kind of a boost controller you have. All you can do is set your actuator arm as loose as it will go and still have pressure on the wastegate arm when hooked up. Then from there up your boost controller will do the work.

Boost creep is when you hold your sled at wide open for a while and the exhaust flow becomes to high for the wastegate to get rid of. Your boost will start to go up slowly durring WOT.
