have a 09 dragon 800 with silber kit on it. what kind of pistons or what could i do to it for best performance and and longer lasting then a stock motor.

The stock polaris reeds are strong enough to take the abuse of a turbo. As long as your not lean popping or fogging the air box with nos they will be fine. None of our turbo sleds have failed the stock reeds even with 2500 mi on them.

Yes the stock reeds do hold up ok, but we have found that even in some stock N/A sleds the reed tips begin to burn and usualy break not long after. In my experiance installing kits it seams like somewhere around 40% of stockers, with 1500 miles or more, have some tip erosion, and maby 10% have petals split or completly missing. This is why HM uses a thicker, stronger reed petal. Not to dicreadit you, just what I've found. :face-icon-small-hap
