I had no idea sledding was a recreational sport in Russia!!!

COOL. Is it hard to get in and out for trips like that from abroad?
Do people rent or take their own sleds?

What part of Russia is it? Can you show on a map?

Well, I like bears and I do like vodka, haha....but actually, no, I had't given much though to sledding in Russia, except for maybe running trap lines. :)

I probably couldn't come in the near future...but I'd sure like to do a Russian bear hunt and go sledding. That would be a GREAT adventure...and maybe through in some vodka and we'll call it a trifecta. :wine:
I guess I'd need a passport.

And here I thought that snowmobiling was an American/Canadian/Swedish/Norwegian only sport, I know its a narrow point of view but I just don't think of snowmobiling and Russians. I guess a whole bunch of things have changed since communism/socialism went out of style! You guys are pretty darn good to and wow, there must be a lot of SWEET terrain! Keep posting more videos!

Looks awesome. Makes sense, Russia is not really known for steep mountains (im sure you got heaps) but looks like there are lots of nice open areas and trees for boondocking!!

You mentioned $16000 for a new sled in an earlier post, is that $US or RUB's?
