Installing aftermarket bars

I'm installing new bars and would like to get rid of the switch cluster wondering how other guys have moved the hand warmer switches and rev button to the console. I remember reading about it before but cannot find the post

I cut a piece of 7/8 aluminum tube for the cluster to clamp to, ran a bolt with some big washers through the riser and through tube and used some handy dandy electrical tape. Cheap and relocated. Also should add that I have a sno bunje handlebar bag so you really don't even see the cluster down there.
