Yep ........... Ran 900 Mtn mod and 1000 Mtn mod with my 09 SHR-860cc 163 x 2.5 inch track against actual (500 yd drag set up sleds - smaller lug track etc.) and I took 2nd in 900 and 2nd in 1000. Sorry, not et's but if I remember right (2011) my speed was 84 mph. On ice.
btw ............. my current SHR880 etec would DESTROY my old 09 860. No bull.
So, what happened at the shootout?

Yea, end of Feb is when I think we will be getting together some SHR's and a few Trygstad's up in West Yellowstone or IP.
Slim, the dates are firm. I will be arriving in IP to ride Wednesday, Feb 26 and riding at different spots around there and West until Sunday, March 2. We will hit IP that Wednesday and probably again on Saturday. Not sure where we will be the other days, but I can tell you where we have gone in years past.

Are turbos welcome at this get together? I really don't like riding with a big group. Turns into a CF. But wouldn't mind checking this out. Maybe bring a Cat big bore with too.

I personally have no problems with anyone coming and checking it out/hanging out/running. I know that my group has 4 872's and several turbo's. We make this trip every year so there is a group that will be there. Not necessarily all at the same place at the same time, but potentially. It sounds like Scratley and Slim are going to have their SHR BB's there to run against the Trygstad's and see how we all stack up.

Thanks slim. John's motors are sweet for sure. Wonder if I could make a 880 bore work with the 890 stroker. Think that would put it in the 900 plus range. May have to work on this.

Might be able to make these dates work. West is only 5 hrs for me. I'll bring a SHR 880, and a turbo XP. See if I can drag along a couple of 860's and an 872 along w/ the mix.

Yes, exactly. Just so you all are aware, my group will be the smallest on Wednesday and Thursday with the majority of the group showing up Thursday night. I know that will be harder to swing with it being during the week, but thought I'd throw it out there in case some of you don't like the whole idea of one big group.
