I've got a 2008 iqr 600 total stock minus jaws can. I haven't used it in a while, I started it up after about 3 weeks of sitting and now its making a crazy knock sound every 15-20 seconds. any ideas? piston slap? thermostat sticking...........any buddy have this issue?

so, after I took it for a ride, the temp light is flashing. Thermostat? temp sensor?

checked exhaust valves, exhaust temp sensor (for cleanliness) and coolant levels, all good. I know exhaust temp sensor could still be bad, but wasn't too dirty

Probably rod knock stop running it turn primary back and forth by had and listen close. If you need a crank I have a fresh one...
