Probably work but probably have to change that control rod too if it's different length, heard the 18 shock is longer perhaps the rod too?

Just think how much nicer it would be to push a button on your handlebar rather than get off the sled and turn all those QS dials by hand.

Small servo motor on each shock that turns the compression valve on the reservoir. The prototypes that were mounted on the sled were a little on the large size, but the engineer I was talking to said they were components they had laying around and used for testing. Functional testing was complete and he said they were working on sourcing some smaller, more compact parts to keep them as small as possible for both weight and durability. The shocks were mounted on a sled so I can't tell you how much more they weighed comparative to a standard shock. My guess would be an additional 1/4lb per shock when it's all said and done plus wiring and button. He said actual product should be available to the public after the 1st of the year. I forgot to ask about the details of how they are powering the system.

Adjustable accessories
A remote coupler block adjuster is available for 2018, allowing a rider to quickly adjust the transfer right from the handlebars. The adjuster on the left-hand grip changes the block in back from coupled to uncoupled and back with just a twist of your hand. Also available for 2018 is an adjustable windshield that can be adjusted four inches, from medium height (19 in.) to high height (23 in.). Check out the new driver-angled footrest platforms from Ski-Doo accessories as well!

The 2016-2017 skid should just need the rear QSRL shock. We have them on hand. The older skids will need a different length control rod, we have those as well.

Lithium ion cells charged by an inverter/wheel mounted in the rear suspension on the shocks cross bar.

so it looks like the 18 shock is 17"with a 15.4" down rod and the 16 shock is 16" with a 14.25" down rod.

I bought one for my 13 and don't see any reason it won't work. Looks to me like they increased the length of the downrod when they made the mounting pont for the front arm higher on the 16s. Shock is 16.5 center to center of eyes.

I feel like this is a huge upgrade for 300$ not only do you get a much improved shock you get a lockout. I'll be ditching my kiss coupler
