This one of a kind Viper is the fastest Yamaha I have ever ridden. Lakeside motor with Pistons, rods, head studs, cams, and porting. Water to air intercooler, 2863 GTX turbo, custom stainless header, C3 belt drive, Team Tied secondary, rear tunnel and CR board cooler. It has quite a few one offs.

I hear what you all are saying on the Apex.....loved everyone of those and built a couple of Nypex for the power only.
So the next build is on the bench. Vipex. Viper chassis is so Apex like in the position and handling but again I really like the 4cyl power.
There is one Vipex in existence that I know of and we are just starting this with some custom CNC "nytro style" side plates that mate up to the Viper Chassis. I'd imagine this will take us some time but also sure it will everything I have imagined. MCX custom rear mount to keep the weight off the nose and balance the chassis. Pictures in a few weeks :)

Here is the current ride.

Should be an interesting build. I personally would not go rear mount after having a mid mount the past few seasons. Keep the turbo forward and move the fuel and other weight rearwards.

Big fish that viper sure turned out killer. Question for you. the boonie bumper on that nytro of yours, which is WAY!!!! cool as well, has an extra tube welded down low. Did you do that as a precaution or was it added do to an encounter in the Forrest??

it was built by m5 on here so it was his design & he was nice enough to make one for me.
mabey he will chime in, but my guess is just to make it a little stronger.

Nypex

I love my Nypex, its pretty fast.... but I'm hoping my new viper will fit the bill, as it is easier to ride.

MitchyTheSparky Good looking Nytro. Question for you regarding the handle bar aux light. What model is it. Looks like it works well where you mounted it.
