Started out with an 05 M7 stripped it down and started building it back up with the 1147 in place of the 700. Tomorrow i should get the pipes fit into place and install the carbs on Monday when they show up.

Enjoy!

Awesome build I was looking at this route but wanted lower center of gravity! But like how everything is coming together!

Very cool. Do you use the stock center to center on the clutches?

No the center to center changed. Using a belt that goes on a Bearcat "Ultimax Pro 144-4900U4" which is 49 5/8 x 1 31/64. We decided to go with a longer belt so that it'll run a little cooler and give a little more room on the back side to place the carbs.

Ya there was a guy down by Boise Id. that said he does them, told me 1200 bucks but have lost his name and number. Been couple years, but now I'm ready. I have the 1150 cutler. Been trying to sell the motor and turbo out of the sled first.

curious to see if where the rear mounts are welded to the cooler if they will crack it out... not very strong there!

Ive repaired a few M coolers where they crack on the corner where the steering post is bolted through the cooler... Time will tell!

We deleted the front cooler for that very reason, it is now just a glorified motor mount surface. We then added the ski-doo MXZ cooler under the tunnel to handle the additional cooling that these motors require as they are reverse water flow compared to the M-series lay downs
