depends on your riding style. brother has a kk bought it new in 03 and not one problem. lots of power and torque. good dependable sled.

well im not a small person so the more power the better i hit all the big hills im 5'11 weigh 225
KING all the way!!!!! They are bulletproof, you can hurt that chassis. and the motor is solid. There are also a ton of aftermarket items for that sled. Save yourself $5000 and get the KING.

how much money do you want to spend?? 5000, or 12000! I rode a 05 king cat for 2 years and this year bought a 07 m1000, totally different sled, i like the king cat , but it will beat the crap out of your body, the m is a lot nicer on your body!

my buddy has a kk and it runs great, but can be very tempramental when it comes to putting cans and messing with exhaust. i ride an 06 m8 and they are pretty comparable as far as power, althought the kk does seem to have more low end grunt. I however wouldn't trade the handling of the m-series for it. The m-series is a lot more nimble sled and doesn't beat you up as much. but i don't think you could go wrong either way.

well it comes down to, do you want spend 12,000 dollars or 6,500? there is definatly a power difference but a kk will do just fine.
