Tip weight or no?

I've just gotten a set of Cultler adjustable weights for my M1000. It's got reeds and full exhaust and is over reving. I've got a good idea what weight I want to try but should I put some in the tips or not. Don't have a clue about this so would really appreciate input from someone who knows.

weight them from the heel, only add tip weight if they're completely full.

The cutler weight with some at the heel is like a cat light tip, but if you're adding toward the tip they don't respond as well. (IMO)

With the ones I've got I should be able to add all I need without useing the tips. Thank you.
