I hate to do this, but my eyes are going crossed searching.

I remember reading a thread (can't remember how I found it then) about a way to add a switch to an XD-16 to extend the life on the O2 sensor.

I can't remember if it was a way to switch it off until the sled was at operating temperature or if it was a way to pre-heat the sensor to prevent fouling. I wouldn't think a 4-stroke would need to be pre-heated, but I'm not for sure.

Any help is appreciated either directly or maybe a link to the holy-grail white unicorn of a thread that I can't find anymore. :face-icon-small-con

I don't know if I am right, but I was told to do a pre-heat on it at least first morning cold start, then don't worry about it for the rest of the day if you ride fairly steady.

Our 02 sensor was on a M1000 2-smoke which I was told was even worse on sensors than a 4-stroker.

Hope this helps,
PB
