There is an idle screw on each of the carbs. You have to adjust them the same amount each.

I think idle spec is around 1800-2500 rpm - but that is just what I am trying to recall.

Check your throttle cables and lube them up while you are checking. Check all of the hoses and such on the carbs.

I think that the 99 has the DPEM and DESS - you should get a manual for it - can be had for 5$ or so on-line.
