Has anyone seen any objective evidence that the belt drive is an advantage? Sure there is the discussion about rotating weight, etc., but with the PRO's being out for two years it would seem like an easy comparison with a stock PRO RMK vs stock RMK without belt drive... Just curious since considering the mod on my XM but don't want to spend $1,000 for a belt that may not change anything.

Lots of discussion on other forums regarding this. APPARENTLY someone has done some testing with meters that measure torque and it takes more torque to turn a belt drive than chain case.

A lot of guys have said it fills like you gear up and gear down at the same time going to it even running the same final ratio. Now that i got my 14 set up for me i love it just wish it could be about 40 pound lighter instead of me having to spend another 25 to 3 ish grand to get it down.

The biggest advantage to having the belt drive in the pro is it makes it handle so much better. The 13s handle so much better than an 11-12. Less rotating weight= lighter feeling sled. And they are way more snappy.
