Hello--
2009 Dragon 800
Dumb question: the ignition coils are arranged front to rear under the belt holder. Does the front coil go to the mag side or the pto side?

(Never thought about it before, and some one helped me by changing plugs when I wasn't looking. They gotta learn shopcraft somehow, though).

Per the manual,
the WHITE connector goes to the MAG coil (next to the shock tower plastic) and the BLUE connector goes to the PTO (next to the VR) coil.

Your welcome. By the way, I don't think it really matters which coil the colored connectors hook too so long as the coil with the BLUE connector goes to the PTO spark plug and the WHITE connector to the MAG spark plug.

As for being a dumb question, not at all. I have to look in the manual every time I disconnect them to ensure I get them hooked back up correctly.
