SNOWEST FORUMS: New Servers !!

I just got off the phone with Dell Computers, and I wanted to let all the members of SnoWest know that our long awaited High Speed Data servers are now on the production line and being built for us.

They told me we should have them here in Idaho Falls on or before December 3rd, 23 days from today. He thought in all likely hood we may see them a few days sooner if all goes well.

Once installed ALL speed / performance related issues on SnoWest will be permanently resolved!!

As production updates arrive I will update this thread with further information.

dell dont have what it takes...they will let you down and you will be on the phone to someone in India to try and resolve the issues

Over the last 15 years or so I have purchased about 15 computers from dell's corporate division, and have wonderful corporate support. That might be wholly different from their consumer division, but its one of the reasons that I have stayed with them over the years.

you got that right...and they try to sell you camcorders...external hard drives....friggen curry first...then try and deal with your issues...man alive you could have built your own server in two days and twice the rig dell could ever do
