Replace stock M lights with vents and smaller lights

I know i seen someone on here is selling some vents when you remove the stock lights......my questions is in regard to placing some small lights somewhere in these vents. I can dom the fab work and make the lights attach to the vents somehow.

Has anyone done this?

Can you post some pics?

I want some lights that will draw minimal watts/amps...

2fun4u (2cool vents)has headlight vents and they had a post on here showing it with two Pia type lights mounted behind the vents,check with them.

But i would rather the lights actual stick out of the vents, or have no vent material infront of the light itself, anyone done this???

Mountain Fit just came out with one, and its a lot less than the others.

sorry to butt in but can you just put any aftermarket light on to replace the stock ones. or do they have to be the same watagage. how does that work.

I have a turbo kit that has a fuel pump that seems to create a voltage drop

I saw that vent from mtn fit and it looked less then desireable...i dont like the pastic on the outside, it looks kinda goofy.....2cool had none on hand

does this damage the sled. or is it ok for this voltage drop.

Do you need a light for emergency or night riding?
If not I wouldn't install them.
I used 1/4 inch harware cloth and vent material over that for my headlight vents... You can form the hardware cloth in the opening and make it look nice... Cheap way to do it.
You could easily rivet a small bracket in the opening and install a small light on the bracket.
I ended up drilling 1 or 2 extra holes to attatch the hardware cloth, but you already have the existing holes to attatch the stock lights that would work also.
I will try to get some pics once I finish my hood vents.
