Hey everyone,

The season is fast approaching! The 850 Patriot / Boondocker Turbo excitement and demand is going through the roof. If you did not snowcheck yours, go to our dealer locator and find your local dealer. They will be placing stocking orders this month. You don't want to miss out on this new Polaris / Boondocker package.

After having the Patriot last year for development, the new features and advancements are pretty amazing. We will be releasing all the details and goodies very soon!

The 800 kit will remain the same for now. The 850 Patriot has all new electronics from Polaris which created the changes and opportunity for the next gen systems. The 800 Axys, Cat, and Doo will evolve to the new systems/features moving forward but not this year.

It's all in hand and ready for the public. Just waiting for the marketing dept to turn it loose. Better get one on order from your local dealer. Mid- season will be buried in late orders. You don't want to get trapped in that wave......

Hey everyone,

The Patriot development last year , on a brand new model, needs to have the production model verified and validated. Occasionally a new model, like the Patriot 850 will get some minor tweaks and alterations from the manufacturer during production. It is critical for Boondocker to receive the production model and verify that no changes were made from the pre production sled. That process is very quick, but critically important. The team will drive to snow, wherever it is, collect data and complete the validation process, then release them. You will be very happy and confident knowing that Boondocker is taking this step in order for you to receive a perfectly tuned system. We would hate to release the new model before this important step and find an unexpected surprise. It is a process unique to a first year, new model sled. We will keep you posted.

Other than all new for the Patriot, a feature that everyone will love is the USB port access for updates and the option of High or Low pressure! Super nice feature.

The beauty of the Sidekick is that they don't tune for certain AFR, or EGT or boost levels.

The system tunes to a targeted horsepower level, given all the input data.
It will adjust the boost levels automatically when you change elevation so that you will always achieve that horsepower level.
SO, what that means to the rider is that you don't adjust your clutching or tuning at any elevation. You don't even have to adjust your smile!!!

Let's say you are clutched and set up at 5000' to achieve 220hp.
If you go to 10,000 feet, your sensors will do their thing and the boost level will adjust. You will still make 220hp.
Then you go to the coast and ride at sea level...it will adjust and you will make 220hp there also.

You don't have to touch your clutching.

Do you think they will work great at low elevation? 0-3500'?

The new Sidekick with the new Boondocker turbo will work be outstanding at low elevation. There needs to be more testing done at lower elevations though. Right now the floor is around 3-5,000 ft without added octane.

As Scott said, it is designed to compensate to a HP figure. There just has not been enough testing to say 100% it will compensate all the way down to sea level.
