I have approximatly 7 hours of video footage of elk from this hunting season so far. I seem to find myself sitting where i can see, taking video instead of working on getting in a good spot to wack one with a sharp pointed stick. Footage is mostly of the elk traveling to and from their feeding to bedding grounds. Also have a couple good scraps between herd bulls.

I am looking for somethig that is easy to use. I want to take the video and cut it down, cut out the shakey parts and trim it down to about a hour of good solid footage. Something that I can burn on a disc and give to friend and family.

Any suggestions?

Cheap and easy solution is Windows Movie Maker, it's free and will do what you want.

we bought software that is called pinnacle studios. not a bad price and you can do alot of differant things to a movie

Used Pinnacle many years. Newest version with a good high power machine has finally gotten very stable.

If you want really simple, Movie Maker is on your Windows machine already.
