Y pipe ?

I have a 16 m8000 LTD with about 900 miles. Only upgade is a BMP can. I'd like to put on a Boysen rage cage and a BMP y pipe for a little bit of a gain. If I add these do I need a fuel controller or will it still run like a top? Mainly ride 5-9k in Idaho. Thanks in advance!

If they say you don't need one then they probably don't have a PCV map for just a y-pipe. So unless you can find a map or run an autotune system (I have one for sale lol) you won't have proper fueling for just y-pipe

I’m running a Diamond S can, Boysen reeds and BMP y-pipe on my 16 with no fuel controller. Ran this setup all last season 6-10k with no issues. I’m also running an opened up intake.

I run a SSI y-pipe, speedwerx L2 can, and v-force reeds with no fuel controller. No issues in my 2014 m8000
