I have a Tracker DTS beacon and when you try to put it into search mode it beeps 3 times and dispays Er on the screen then just goes back into tx mode. Any ideas??? Is there a reset button or anything on these?

I have never seen that happen, but it doesn't sound like a good thing. Did you take the batteries out and put them back in?
Either way, sounds like something you will want to have checked out and repaired/replaced. Not sure if it is still under warranty, if so BCA is really good at getting them replaced.

when you turn it on, the first thing it disolays is the battery strength in%. how much power do you have.

I think I had the same confusion, but Cade at SnowBigDeal helped me out. The "Er" you are getting is not really an error, it is actually "tr" which stands for transmit mode. When switching to search mode, let go of the button quickly while "SE" is displayed otherwise it will jump back into transmit mode and display "tr". Hope this helps. :face-icon-small-hap
