We just finished fitting up the XP with our Ti quiet silencer at this point the quiet silencer is the only one that will be available for the XP
We will have the XP can on our website Saturday

Have they passed the dyno scrutiny? Any plans to make them in steel?

What are the gains with the can on that engine? Is it the same can as the 800r, or a bb only can.
Get much testing in last year with it?

Dave, Have you had a chance to run the silencer on your dyno with the 872? The weight reduction will be nice but would be a wash if any torque or HP was lost. Thanks

dyno test results

I spoke with Dave last week and he told me that this is the only can that they have ever tested that did not lose any power during the testing. He also added that it did not seem to add any real additional power. He stated the weight savings were the many benefit and he said this is the first time he has ever endorsed and aftermarket can. He also added that he also is not selling this can but he was so impressed with the fit and finish, weight savings, and no loss of power compared to the factory pipe he wanted to acknowledge it.

Any good can will not add powder or rob power just lose huge amounts of weight.

Diamond S web site claims a power increase of 3.8 hp and weight savings of 14.6 lbs on a 800 xm. Not sure if that hp increase would apply to the 872.
