One of my riding partners is thinking about buying a 24' v-nosed enclosed trailer. 20' long with a 4' v-nose. It's an aluminum Cargo Mate. Will 4 long tracks fit in this? 1- 04 Summit 151, 1- 98 summit 151, 1- 01 RMK 144, and 1- 06 RMK 144 is what we usually take. This trailer big enough?

This is what he's getting for around $8000, is it a good deal? He's probably going to be selling the sleds...

2001 Cargomate 4 place Aluminum, V nose, drive on/off
2001 Arctic Cat ZR800 LE 2505 mi, Fast, Good condition
1998 Arctic Cat ZR600 LE EFI, 4800mi, 136" track with tunnel ext. mountain handlebars
1992 Polaris Indy 500, 8100 mi. Needs work
Hundreds of $ in misc parts and acc.

We have a 25' and can fit five long tracks in it

is this a 25' of rectangle and then the v on top of that or 20 or 21 plus the v? I would love to see pictures of how you did this. I have heard of people getting pretty creative, you guys must be some of them.

My opinion is if you will have to drive the sleds in from the front and even then you will be cutting it pretty close. Now if you want to start taking skis off, jacking up some sleds......... then lots of things are possible LOL.

As far as the fit issue, I am pretty sure that everything will fit easily. The 151s are probably in the neighborhood of 10'-6" long and the 144s are probably about 10 ft long... You should be able to get all of them in there pretty easy. :beer;

we can get 5 sleds in our 7x29 also. 3-144", 1-151" and 1-155" with all loaded from the front facing back except the front one....we didnt have to do anything to them to make them fit although we did put a cinder block under the track of the one facing forward just so they wouldnt be scuffing up each other.....
so i think you should have no problem with yours fitting

It will make a lot of difference in what size 'long tracks' you're dealing with. 144s and 151s no prob. If you're talking all 159s, 162s or longer you'll need to work at it a little.

I had a trailer with a 21' box and 4' V, could get 3 151's, a 166 and a 136 in it with no problem. Loaded them all the normal way.

That doesn't sound like too bad of a deal.

Which way is normal?

I heard that the correct way of loading these trailer's is from the front? It make sense because you can put the front two in and then the next two and push the "tails" together in the v-nose? I am not sure if this is true/correct but it does make sense? I tried this last year was able to fit 4 long tracks in a "big 3 place" 1-163 1-162 1-159 1-154. it was TIGHT couldn't even fart if you needed to, but it worked?
