There is an indicator light on the front that changes color for each mode.

You can do 90 degree or 130 degree angle

Here is a video I took with my EGO. Keep in mind it also matters what Codec you use to save out of your editing software. Some give better quality than others. Also what youtube setting you are set for also makes the viewing quality better or worse. This day was cloudy as well.
