Good luck finding a dyno sheet on one of Carls Cycle's motors. Struthers doesn't use the dyno (if he does, he keeps a good secret) he just spends countless hours on the mountain testing.

I've got one of his 975's and it's an awesome sled. My guess- somewhere in the 190-205 hp range. Whatever it is, it runs.

does the 975 run well on nitrous?

175-185 depending on what gas it is set up to use. HTG gets 175-180 on pump gas with their pipe and reflash. I'm pretty sure they get the reflash done the same place. Higher compression and race gas is worth a few HP, but without twin pipes it wouldn't be a huge jump.

FYI, I have a HTG 975 kit for sale with exchange of your stock top end. Comes with the pipe. Just got back from Wyoming and it rocked. I am getting my sled ready to sell as my dealer is giving me 1st right of refusal on his 800 IQ.
