FYI, If no rooms at GSR, Peppermill, Atlantis is closest, and best.
Nugget flat out stinks, bad. Or used to. Even smokers think it's gross. It's been a year, so maybe not, but at GSR smoking is only allowed around the casino tables in the middle and sportsbook area by theatre entrance.
No smoking in the clubs or restaurants. They keep it ventilated pretty well too.
GSR is probably the classiest spot in town except the newer portions of Peppermill and Atlantis(Biscottis at Peppermill has good chow, big portions not too much $$, and the others are good too and priced pretty reasonable
Atlantis has some good stuff too. They just arent as convenient to get to.
GSR has Dolces(yah same franchise as Hollywood), and Charlie Palmers for steak and Fin Fish just like Vegas.(Great, but you pay for it and IMO, not enough food. There is a good buffet too.
At GSR, the night club right there"Pearl", if you want tables, VIP and bottle service it's about 200 bucks a bottle and space for 10. If you guys decide on that and need space, I know everyone there and can MAYBE get them to swing a deal. Maybe being Reno is VERY Clickish. Meaning unless you know someone etc, they can be rough.
A few there are cool though, especially the manager.
It's more upscale.....so you wont get in to check out the ladies, go-gos or anything dressed like crap.
Dressy type shoes, collared shirts, or Polo/GOlf type, and at least decent dressy Jeans minimum.
It's 20 buck cover, but with a group they usually just let you in or if you're buying bottles its included.
There's the big middle waterfall bar that's pretty cool, and lots of hot women abound around it with the guy singing there. It's quieter and you can talk without yelling, and more kickback, and during stuff like Hot August Nights, Street Vibrations......Vegas girls of talent abound. Trust me, you'll know becasue they stick out like a sore thumb. For this event I dunno unless some other convention or event/concert etc is in town.
Keep in mind, everything at GSR is seperate entities, so the casino can't comp stuff really unless you are a big player. It's more the managers of all the places throwing favors around.
Nikki Beach is closed because its too cold at night nowi, but Pearl is it's nside sister club. It's your typical, Rap, HipHop, dancy top 40 house music club with go gos and all that. Stays open till 4 AM or till when ever the crowd clears........no time limit on booze in NV

Peppermill has a new swank club like Tryst, Moon etc etc etcv in Vegas but wont be open yet then, I don't think..
Downtown........eh, stay away from "210"
Seriously, everything you really need is at GSR.
Port of Subs, Round table, bowling alley, the Golf driving range at the lake out back.
Reno ain't all bad. Even some of the girls love sleds!
